Nick started Sunstruck Records with ambitions to change the music business in a meaningful way by granting money, talent, and time to artists that inspired him.
In addition to running Sunstruck, Nick sings and plays a variety of instruments for Kings of Last Call and produces music by other artists. Nick formerly played lead guitar for Kira's Rage and early versions of the band that is now Elvis Before Noon. Once upon a time, Nick was a children's librarian.
Brad Traweek was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and is an avid guitarist and instrument collector. He first took guitar lessons at the tender age of 6 and has had the "bug" ever since. He splits his time as lead guitarist for Phoenix heavyweights The Delta Fifths, Kings of Last Call and as website manager for the world's most iconic manufacturer of guitars - you may have heard of them.
Brad may or may not have just purchased Waylon Jennings' amp collection.
Richard "Ringo" Williams
Richard "Ringo" Williams plays drums, bass, and a little bit of everything else. His main gig is in the Phoenix band Elvis Before Noon and he plays drums on the majority of tracks played by the house band for Sunstruck Records.
His band's most recent album was produced by Eric Racy (Robin Thicke, Katy Perry) and features Gin Blossoms' Scotty Johnson on guitar.
Rick Heins is, simply, one of the best guitarists you will ever hear. He also plays pedal steel, banjo, and really anything else with strings. Rick is currently playing guitar and a variety of other things for indie rock band Some Magical Animal and produces his own music as Memento, for which he plays and sings all parts.
Rick's most recent release is as lead guitarist for Phoenix indie rock supergroup Source Victoria, on an album produced by three-time Grammy winner Chris Testa (Dixie Chicks, Jimmy Eat World, Paul Simon, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Black Crowes, Willie Nelson) and featuring contributions by Lisa Loeb, Jon Rauhause (Old 97s, Neko Case, Jakob Dylan), and Sam Means (The Format).
Yes, this is a picture of him playing Ryan Adams' favorite guitar, Peanut.
Chad Hines is the lead guitarist for the legendary Phoenix band Truckers on Speed. A universally respected musician, Chad has shared the stage with just about every band to come out of the valley music scene in the last 20 years. In addition to his unmistakeable style on the six string, Chad plays a mean lap steel guitar and mandolin. Chad contributes extensively to Sunstruck-related projects, including Kings of Last Call.
